Cut strip from each fat quarter , 9-1/2'' x with of fabric. 
cut contrast fabric (black) into strips, 4-1/2 by with of fabric
to each 9-1/2'' strip, sew a black 4-1/2 strip. press
subcut into 4-5, 4-1/2'' x13-1/2'' strips
SEW 12 , 13-1/2'' UNITS TOGETHER TO MAKE 0NE ROW.MAKE 5 ROWS , SEW ROW TOGETHER.
CUT BLACK BORDER STRIPS, APPROX 7 PIECES, 4-1/4'' BY WITH OF FABRIC, SEW BLACK BORDER.
FROM REMAINING FAT QUARTER FABRICS, CUT STRIPS 4-1/2,'' BY 20'', SEW STRIPS END TO END, ALONG 4-1/2'' SIDE, IN ONE CONTINOUS LONG STRIP , SEW ALONG TOP OF QUILT FIRST, TRIM SEW ALONG BOTTOM, TRIM, THEN SEW ALONG BOTH SIDES.
