EASY PEASY SELF BINDING CHRISTMAS COASTERS
USING BLOCK PANEL

Cut panel apart into individual blocks, fussy cut to 7 1/2'' x 7 1/2'' blocks
cut backing fabric at least 2 1/2'' bigger all around than your block, cut 10'' x10'' squares
cut a thin batting or fusible fleece 7 1/2'' square, fuse or pin to your 7 1/2'' block
next find and mark the center of both the backing and 7 1/2 '' square.fold back both ways and iron a crease, mark centers on the back of fabric, do same for top block marking centers on the right side of fabric.
If you want to now you could do a bit of quilting on your 7 1/2 square.
but because this is a small project i haven't done any
next center the 71/2'' square ontp the 10'' square, pin in place .
next trim away all four , leaving a 1/4'' sticking past the point.
line up the 45 degree lines on the corner, trim 1/4'' past the point
now fold backing fabric toward the front of coaster lining it up along the edge of the front, press .
do this on all four sides.
next unfold fabric near corners make a mark in the fold near edge of corner.
match marked corner together right sides together, sew 1/4 '' seam from marked line to end of fabric
do this for all 4 corners
